The Brand

AVIV, which means “spring” in Hebrew, is the latest culinary venture from acclaimed Israeli-born chef Michael Solomonov and renowned restaurateur Steve Cook, winners of multiple James Beard Awards. AVIV offers a dynamic dining experience that blends ancient cooking techniques with the vibrant, modern atmosphere of Miami and Tel Aviv. 

The Project

Pure Logistics played an important role in assisting with the renovation of the AVIV restaurant in Miami Beach, Florida, in the last quarter of 2024. This included the consolidation of the FF&E, inventory management, deliveries, liquidation, and installation. 

Working in Miami Beach came with challenges that Pure Logistics anticipated and worked nimbly to address as they arose in the dynamic process. The projects required moving deliverables through the interior building, as the sidewalk couldn’t be utilized due to code. Pure Logistics quickly pivoted to the last-minute requests of the brand during the liquidation process as they wanted to preserve as many accessories as possible for the new location. Installation required on-the-fly changes to floor plans to ensure everything was just right for their gourmet restaurant. 

The Results

Throughout the entire process, Pure Logistics’ team remained “all in,” one of their core values to ensure the dream became a reality. The grand opening of the restaurant was a hit and received an abundance of praise for not only the stunning end result, but also the proactiveness that occurred during the transition.
